Lymphocytic gastritis

**Definition:** Chronic gastritis characterised by a peculiar infiltration of benign lymphocytes into the glands and surface mucosa. Lymphocytic gastritis is associated with celiac disease, Helicobacter pylori (HP) gastritis, and varioliform gastritis.
