Dyskinesia of sphincter of Oddi

**Definition:** This is a movement disorder which consists of adverse effects including diminished voluntary movements and the presence of involuntary movements in the muscular valve that controls the flow of digestive juices (bile and pancreatic juice) through the ampulla of Vater into the second part of the duodenum.
