Nummular dermatitis

**Definition:** Cutaneous eruption otherwise known as discoid eczema characterised by discoid or coin-shaped plaques of eczema. The lesions usually occur on the extensor surfaces of the extremities, but the face and trunk may also be involved. The cause is unknown.
