Linear morphoea
**Definition:** Linear morphoea is a form of morphoea which usually presents in childhood or adolescence and is usually unilateral, affecting a limb with a linear induration of skin, subcutis and occasionally underlying muscle and bone. It may also affect the scalp and forehead ("en coup de sabre") producing a depressed scar likened to a healed sabre wound, with sclerosis of the skin and alopecia of affected scalp.
