Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea
**Definition:** Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea manifests as facial erythema and a flushing tendency affecting but not confined to the central face and forehead: the lateral cheeks, the ears and the sides of the neck may also be involved. It is commonest in fair-skinned individuals and tends to be made worse by exposure to wind and sunlight. With time permanent telangiectasia develops.
