Acute cutaneous distension syndrome
**Definition:** A common sequela of acute oedema, especially of the lower extremities. It manifests as blisters, which may be mistaken for an immunobullous disorder, (acute oedema blisters); or as superficial fissuring and inflammation of the skin (eczéma craquelé).
