Polymorphic light eruption

**Definition:** Polymorphic light eruption is a common delayed‐onset abnormal inflammatory cutaneous reaction to sunlight or other source of ultraviolet radiation. It typically manifests as an eruption of papules and vesicles affecting normally sun-protected skin sites following exposure to sunlight. Tolerance is commonly seen after repeated sunlight or UV exposure.
