Stricture or stenosis of cervix uteri

**Definition:** A condition of the cervix uteri, caused by inflammation, trauma, scarring, or atrophy. This condition is characterised by narrowing of the cervical ostium.

**Exclusions:** - Obstructed labour due to abnormality of maternal pelvic organs
