Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion of cervix uteri
**Definition:** A condition of the cervix uteri caused by chronic infection. This condition is characterised by premalignant transformation and abnormal cell growth and behaviour of the cervical squamous epithelial tissue.
**Exclusions:** - Cervical Intraepithelial neoplasia grade III - Cervical Intraepithelial neoplasia grade II - High grade squamous intraepithelial lesion of cervix uteri - Carcinoma in situ of cervix uteri
