**Definition:** Any collection of fluid, surrounded by a very thin wall, within an ovary, which is not classified elsewhere. This includes any ovarian follicle that is larger than about two centimetres in diameter.

**Exclusions:** - ovarian cyst: developmental - ovarian cyst: neoplastic - Polycystic ovary syndrome
