Cyclic pelvic pain

**Definition:** A symptom affecting females, caused by gynaecological and physiological aspects associated with the menstrual cycle such as dysmenorrhoea or mittelschmetz. This symptom is characterised by recurrent pain in the pelvis, anterior abdominal wall, lower back, or buttocks, associated with a specific moment or period of time.

**Exclusions:** - Chronic primary visceral pain - Chronic secondary visceral pain
