Spermatocele

**Definition:** A condition characterised by cystic swelling (containing fluid and dead spermatozoa) of the epididymis, rete testis, or efferent ductuli. This condition may be associated with obstruction of the epididymal ducts due to trauma, infection, or an inflammatory process.

**Exclusions:** - Encysted hydrocele - Infected hydrocele
