Simple renal cyst

**Definition:** A disease of the kidney, caused by obstruction of tubules, anaemia, or detachment of diverticula. This disease is characterised by the formation of thin-walled abnormal sacs filled with hypo-echogenic radiolucent fluid in the kidney. Confirmation is by imaging.
