Incomplete uterine prolapse with posterior vaginal wall prolapse

**Definition:** A condition characterised by the displacement of the uterus from its normal position into the vaginal area in association with herniation of the rectum into the vagina, due to a tear in the rectovaginal septum (which is normally a tough, fibrous, sheet-like divider between the rectum and vagina).
