Complete uterine prolapse with anterior vaginal wall prolapse
**Definition:** A condition characterised by the displacement of the uterus from its normal position to at least one cm below the hymen, possibly up to complete eversion of the female genital tract, in association with herniation of the bladder into the vagina due to tearing of the tough fibrous wall between a woman's bladder and her vagina (the pubovesical fascia).
