Complications of anaesthesia during labour or delivery

**Definition:** Any complication caused by or subsequent to any anaesthetic intervention used during labour and delivery.

**Inclusions:** - maternal complications arising from the administration of a general or local anaesthetic, analgesic or other sedation during labour and delivery

**Exclusions:** - Complications of anaesthesia during pregnancy - Complications of anaesthesia during the puerperium
