Death from indirect obstetric cause occurring more than 42 days but less than one year after delivery

**Definition:** Any condition indirectly resulting in death via an intermediate cause due to any issue associated with the physiological or other changes that occur during the period of time from conception to delivery (pregnancy), during labour and delivery (childbirth) or during the approximately six weeks after delivery during which the uterus returns to the original size (puerperium).
