**Definition:** This refers to inflammation of the conjunctiva (the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids) and the inflammation of the nasolacrimal sac, frequently caused by nasolacrimal duct obstruction or infection.

**Exclusions:** - Gonococcal conjunctivitis
