Intraventricular nontraumatic haemorrhage, grade 2, of fetus or newborn

**Definition:** Intraventricular (nontraumatic) haemorrhage, grade 2 is a condition of the fetus or newborn characterised by bleeding into the germinal matrix of the ventricular system with bleeding into the lateral ventricles of the brain without ventricular enlargement.
