Malposition of ureter
**Definition:** A condition caused by failure of the ureter to correctly develop during the antenatal period, resulting in partial or complete duplication of the ureter. This condition may present with hydronephrosis, urinary tract infection, or incontinence in females. Confirmation is through observation of an incorrectly positioned ureter by imaging.
