Craniofacial dysostoses
**Definition:** Syndromes caused by abnormal development of skull and facial bones. They may present with acrocephaly, exophthalmos, hypertelorism, strabismus, parrot-beaked nose, or hypoplastic maxilla. Non-syndromic craniosynostosis, which is predominantly sporadic, is coded elsewhere.
**Exclusions:** - Craniosynostosis - Acrofacial dysostosis, Nager type - Postaxial acrofacial dysostosis - Acrofacial dysostosis, Weyers type - Frontometaphyseal dysplasia
