**Definition:** Nausea is the feeling of having an urge to vomit. Vomiting is forcing the contents of the stomach up through the oesophagus and out of the mouth.

**Exclusions:** - Functional nausea or vomiting - psychogenic vomiting - haematemesis neonatal
