Hand and arm vibration syndrome
**Definition:** Hand Transmitted Vibration is mechanical vibration arising from powered processes or tools which enters the body at the fingers or the palm of the hands. As a consequence of this exposure some people develop a secondary Raynaud’s phenomenon and / or peripheral sensory neuropathy affecting the hands.
**Exclusions:** - Carpal tunnel syndrome
