Squamous Cell Neoplasms

M-803 designates malignant neoplasms composed of squamous cells, showing keratinisation or intercellular bridges, and includes invasive squamous cell carcinomas of the skin, head and neck, esophagus, cervix, lung and other sites. These tumors arise from epithelial cells that have transformed to a squamous phenotype and are typically aggressive, often requiring surgery, radiation or chemotherapy.
