Myomatous Neoplasms

Myomatous neoplasms are benign tumors composed of smooth-muscle cells, most commonly occurring as uterine leiomyomas but also arising in other soft-tissue sites; they are classified as non-malignant proliferations distinct from leiomyosarcomas and are designated by code M-889 in ICD-O-3.
