Fibroepithelial Neoplasms
Fibroepithelial neoplasms are mixed tumors containing both epithelial (glandular) and fibrous stromal elements, most commonly seen in the breast as fibroadenoma or phyllodes tumor. They range from benign lesions to borderline or malignant forms, with behavior determined by the proportion and atypia of the stromal component. Diagnosis relies on histologic assessment of the biphasic architecture and any invasive features.
