Plasma Cell Tumors

M-975 plasma cell tumors include malignant neoplasms derived from plasma cells such as multiple myeloma and solitary plasmacytoma of bone or soft tissue, which produce monoclonal immunoglobulin and often cause bone lesions, anemia, renal impairment, and hypercalcemia. This category is used in ICD-O-3 to code these plasma-cell-origin cancers.
