Thymus

T-C37 denotes neoplasms arising in the thymus, the mediastinal organ that produces T-lymphocytes. It covers primary thymic tumors such as thymoma, thymic carcinoma and other malignant or borderline lesions of this gland. This topography code is used in ICD-O-3 to record the anatomic site of these cancers.
