Other Female Genital Organs

T-C57 designates neoplasms that arise in female genital structures not otherwise classified, encompassing sites such as the fallopian tube, broad ligament, round ligament and other unspecified genital tissues. It is used when a malignant tumor originates in these "other female genital organs" and cannot be assigned to the more specific codes for ovary, uterus, cervix, vagina or vulva. This topography code helps capture rare or poorly defined gynecologic cancers in epidemiologic and clinical records.
