Interpersonal Interactions and Relationships

The d7 component of the ICF addresses the ability to initiate, maintain and adapt interpersonal interactions and relationships, covering family, friends, acquaintances and broader social networks. It includes the capacity and performance of skills such as communicating, sharing emotions, establishing intimacy, cooperating and providing or receiving social support, and the impact of these interactions on participation.
