Collections, Series, Collected Works

AC in the Library of Congress Classification designates material that comprises collections, series or collected works, bringing together writings, documents or artistic productions that share a common author, subject, or institutional origin. It is used for multi-volume sets, anthologies, festschrifts and other grouped publications that are not treated as individual monographs. This class often includes bibliographies, festschrifts, and compilations of a creator's output.
