Social History and Conditions

HN is the Library of Congress subclass that groups works on social history and conditions, focusing on the everyday life, customs, institutions and demographic patterns of societies. It includes studies of family structures, labor and employment, education, health, welfare, social movements and other aspects of collective human experience.
