Painting

The ND subclass in the Library of Congress Classification is dedicated to painting, encompassing works on the history, theory, techniques, and practice of the visual arts. It includes studies of individual artists, movements, styles, materials, and regional or period surveys, as well as instructional manuals and critical analyses related to painting.
