Kefir

**Definition:** A beverage made from milk fermented by a mixture of endogenous LACTIC ACID-producing yeast and bacteria (KEFIR GRAINS), many of which are PROBIOTICS. It should not be confused with KAFFIR LIME or KAFFIR CORN.
