Optic Nerve Hypoplasia

**Definition:** A group of rare genetic disorders characterized by underdeveloped OPTIC NERVES, resulting in increased incidences of vision impairment, CONGENITAL NYSTAGMUS and STRABISMUS. It may be syndromic, and is often associated with CNS malformations.
