Pegivirus

**Definition:** A genus of virus in the family FLAVIVIRIDAE. While pegivirus are mostly non-pathogenic, pegivirus coinfections are sometimes associated with NON-HODGKIN LYMPHOMA in human and a viral hepatitis Theiler’s disease in horses.
