Cloacal Exstrophy

**Definition:** A rare congenital malformation that affects the development of the urinary, digestive, and REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEMS due to CLOACA malformations. In this condition, the large intestine develops outside the abdominal cavity, with the bladder connected to it. Due to this abnormal connection between the colon and the bladder, urine and stool can mix, and there is often no anus.
