**Definition:** A multifunctional protein primarily found in the PLASMA with His/Pro-Rich (HRR) region which contains approximately 12 tandem internal repeats of the 5-residue G[H/P][H/P]PH consensus sequence. Histidine-rich glycoprotein has a diverse range of ligands that are involved in many biological processes, including COAGULATION; IMMUNE RESPONSE; ANGIOGENESIS, and WOUND HEALING.
