Thymosin beta(4)

**Definition:** A thymosin that functions to regulate organization of the CYTOSKELETON. It binds to and sequesters ACTIN monomers to inhibit POLYMERIZATION and also inhibits CELL DIFFERENTIATION of some STEM CELLS.
