Colobinae

**Definition:** A subfamily of the Old World monkeys, CERCOPITHECIDAE, that inhabits the forests of Africa and Asia. The genera COLOBUS, Piliocolobus and Procolobus under Tribe Colobini and Nasalis (proboscis monkey), Presbytis, Pygathrix, Rhinopithecus (snub-nosed monkey), Semnopithecus (Indian langurs), Simias (pig-tailed langur) and Trachypithecus under Tribe PRESBYTINI (Asian colobines) belong to this subfamily.
