**Definition:** The musculotendinous sheath formed by the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, and teres minor muscles. These help stabilize the HUMERAL HEAD in the GLENOID CAVITY of the SCAPULA and allow for rotation of the SHOULDER JOINT about its longitudinal axis.
