Methylmalonyl-CoA Decarboxylase

**Definition:** A carboxy-lyase that catalyzes the DECARBOXYLATION of (S)-2-Methyl-3-oxopropanoyl-CoA to propanoyl-CoA. In microorganisms the reaction can be coupled to the vectorial transport of SODIUM ions across the cytoplasmic membrane.
