CD24 Antigen

**Definition:** A GPI-linked cell adhesion protein originally identified as a heat stable antigen in mice. It mediates antigen-dependent activation and proliferation of B-CELLS. It is also involved in METASTASIS and is highly expressed in many NEOPLASMS.
