**Definition:** Homeostatic control of the IMMUNE SYSTEM by different CYTOKINES that induce the differentiation of HELPER T-CELLS into TH1 and TH2 CELLS and result in a balance or imbalance (leading to disease) of Th1 and Th2 cells' immune responses.
