Chilaiditi Syndrome

**Definition:** Interposition of a portion of the colon (e.g., SIGMOID COLON) between the liver and the diaphragm. It is associated with abdominal pain, vomiting, constipation, anorexia and volvulus. Chilaiditi anomaly refers to asymptomatic interposition.
