Nucleus Raphe Magnus

**Definition:** A nucleus located directly rostral to the NUCLEUS RAPHE OBSCURUS in the pontine part of the Raphe nuclei. Another pontine nucleus located directly rostral to the magnus nucleus is the nucleus raphe pontis.
