General Algebraic Systems

Code 08 surveys the theory of general algebraic structures, including universal algebras, lattices, semigroups, monoids and related systems, together with their identities, homomorphisms, substructures and free constructions. It also addresses categorical viewpoints, varieties, equational logic and applications of these abstract frameworks.
