TFG/ALK Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(2;3)(p23;q21) which fuses a portion of the 5' part of the TFG gene to the last 10 exons of the ALK gene. This rearrangement is associated with anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
