**Definition:** A protein antigen that is comprised of the monosaccharide N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) bound to serine or threonine by O-linked glycosylation. Aberrant expression of Tn antigen by all blood cell lineages is associated with a rare hematological disorder called Tn-syndrome.
