Impact of Visual Impairment Scale Questionnaire

**Definition:** A standardized rating scale developed by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 1997, which was based on items derived from the Functional Capacities Assessment developed by the Michigan Commission for the Blind. This questionnaire measures the level of visual function and difficulties with simple visual tasks such as reading and watching television. The questionnaire contains 5 questions which are scored ranging from 0 (not at all difficult) to 3 (could not do due to visual problems).
